To create an account and begin selling your scrap metal as a Tradesperson, all you need to do is enter your email and set a password — and you're good to go.

Buying, payments, and verification.
Standard industry practice applies: deductions can be made from the final payment. Buyers inspect the load, can update the weight in the app with supporting documentation (e.g. a weighbridge ticket), and adjust the price per tonne for quality discrepancies. All deductions must be mutually agreed off-platform; if you can't agree, there is a return process in the app.
When the seller uploads an invoice, you'll see who they are and be asked if you know this customer. If not, an automated VAT check is performed and the seller is prompted to send their details off-platform before you make payment into the escrow-like account.
If there is a deduction on the load, the difference is refunded to you through your Stripe Connect account — which is why linking your bank account keeps payments and refunds secure and transparent.
